In Cinéma Royal, we follow the permanent staff of the most famous cinema in Heerlen and its surroundings. Over the years, they have become one with the furniture. In De Royal, loves have arisen, adventures have been had, wars have raged and friendships have been broken and mended, both on screen and behind the scenes. Tension can run high there too at times, and behind the bar or in the film box office, there is quite a bit of dreaming and courage taken from the characters they know from treasured Hollywood blockbusters. Day after day, every effort is made to give moviegoers the finest experience. But that certainly doesn't always go smoothly either....
